Giving back to the community.....

on Tuesday, 29 August 2017.

Whilst towns and cities are provided with resources from their respective councils, villages seem to be somewhat neglected with regards to certain facilities as simple as play areas and parks for children to use. Lee & Kate, company directors of K9 Patrol Ltd became aware of this in a local village and decided to do something about it. Working with the ‘Friends of Percy Fields’ group, K9 Patrol Ltd offered to fund apparatus for a suitable area in the village of Scotton.

After a lot of time & planning, building work finally began in August, and despite the heavy rain causing delays the play park is now open and ready for all to use.

Kate said “We are a family run company, and all of our staff have children, so it made sense to do something family orientated, for not only our family to enjoy, but other families too”.

Lee said “We can come down here to give the dogs a run out whilst the children are happily playing on the park. The area itself is great for picnics too so you can spend a good amount of time here. We just need some nice weather!!”
